Article 1-2: Marriage agreed, solemnization and consummation of the marriage in Strelitz determined

Article 3: Dowry (20.000 Thlr. each at 4 groschen), trousseau determined

Article 4: Johannas’ renunciation of inheritance regulated: except in the event of the extinction of the Dukes of Saxe-Gotha

Article 5: Morning gift and utilisation thereof regulated

Article 6: Dower, Investment and dowager’s livelihood regulated

Articles 7-13: handling of dower lands regulated: incl. equipment, administration and prohibition of opening to third parties

Article 14: If Johanna dies and has no children: reversion of the dowry, use reserved to Adolphus Frederick during his lifetime

Article 15: If Johanna dies and has children: Right of inheritance to Johanna’s estate regulated; on the death of Adolphus Frederick’s only son: succession to the throne of Johanna’s eldest son determined

Article 16: If Adolphus Frederick dies: education and guardianship over any minor children regulated

Articles 17-18: If Johanna remarries: settlement of dower lands regulated, children’s inheritance rights to Johanna’s estate regulated

Articles 19-21: If Johanna dies: right of inheritance, testamentary right to estate and reversion of dower lands regulated

Article 22: Agreement that Johanna is not liable for Adolphus Frederick’s debts

Article 23: If one spouse dies prior to the solemnization and consummation of the marriage: cancellation of the contract

Article 24: On Adolphus Frederick’s death until payment of dowry: validity of the contract agreed upon
