Preamble: Names of the parties to the marriage; names of the Polish authorised officials; reasons for the marriage; consent of both parties to the marriage; papal dispensation by Pope Julius III mentioned

Article 1: Dowry regulated: The bride’s family pays 100,000 guilders to the groom

Article 2: Donatio propter nuptias regulated: In the amount of 100,000 guilders

Article 3: Widow’s dower regulated: Investment of 200,000 guilders in the lands traditionally allocated to the widow’s maintenance of the Queen of Poland; homage regulated

Article 4: Morning gift regulated

Article 5: Deaths: If the bride dies before the groom, both the dowry and the donation propter nuptias remain in Poland; the dowry is not refunded

Article 6: If the groom dies before the bride, the bride may continue to dispose of her widow’s dower for the rest of her life, regardless of whether she remains a widow; the donation propter nuptias shall pass to Poland after her death; she may dispose of the morning gift and dowry by will; if there is no will regarding the dowry and morning gift, both shall pass to Austria; repayment of the dowry regulated

Article 7: The bride shall have all the rights and freedoms to which she is entitled as Queen of Poland, insofar as the content of the contract is not restricted

Article 8: Regulations on the inheritance of property acquired by the bride during the marriage

Article 9: Renunciation of inheritance by the bride

Article 10: Regulations to ensure the effectiveness of the contract: Other previous contracts that hinder this contract are revoked; a contractual penalty of 100,000 guilders is stipulated

Article 11: Nullity of the contract if one of the marriage partners dies before the marriage

Article 12: The groom must send Austria a signed copy of the contract; date and place
