[Pre] – to cement the long-standing friendship and harmony between the two crowns, for the benefit of the Protestant religion: decision to form a closer alliance, marriage agreement, appointment of negotiators, conclusion of treaty announced (202f.)

1 – Marriage by proxy in London, personal marriage agreed upon after the bride’s arrival in Denmark: according to Protestant rites

2 – Transfer of the bride to Denmark arranged

3 – Dowry determined: payment arranged, at the eternal disposal of the Danish crown

4 – Maintenance of the bride during the marriage, widow’s income and widow’s residence guaranteed: as is customary for the Danish Queen

5 – After the death of the bride without surviving children: free right of disposal for the bride’s personal property except for the dowry guaranteed

6 – Inheritance of the bride’s gains during the marriage arranged: to children or the Danish Crown

7 – Ratification regulated
