[Pre] – at the request of the groom’s brother to provide for the groom in accordance with his status: the groom is enfeoffed with the duchies of Orleans, Valois and Chartres, the groom’s brother’s courtship, marriage negotiations and conclusion of a preliminary contract with the Pope’s consent – with the consent of the bride and groom: Agreement on marriage contract announced (285f.)
