Article 1: Marriage agreed
Article 2: Community of property and goods agreed: debts incurred prior to the marriage are excluded; dowry set at 900,000 livres, partly in cash, partly in goods, partly in jewels and jewellery; in return for the dowry: Elisabeth’s renunciation of inheritance rights regulated; Elisabeth’s life estate and choice of widow’s residence regulated
Article 3: Dissolution of the community of property after the death of one spouse regulated
Article 4: If property brought into the community of property by Elisabeth is sold, equivalent replacement must be provided, at the latest upon dissolution of the community of property
Article 5: Elisabeth, her relatives, children or descendants are entitled to take over or reject all property included in the community of property with all resulting obligations after the death of her husband; in the event of rejection: reversion of the property contributed by Elisabeth; regulations regarding the life estate and liability for debts in connection therewith
Article 6: Payment terms for the sum of money mentioned in Article 1 are regulated.
Article 7: Donation of 100,000 livres by the King of France is guaranteed due to his close relationship to both spouses.
Article 8: Inheritance of the Duchy of Nemours and the County of Gisors by the son is regulated: or repurchase by the King of France if there are no sons.
