Preamble: Marriage to confirm the friendship between the two houses, Maria Antonia’s consent expressed

Article 1: Engagement agreed: with papal dispensation (still pending at the time of conclusion of the contract)

Article 2: Dowry determined (100,000 Rhenish guilders), bride’s trousseau regulated

Article 3: Renunciation of inheritance rights by the bride in Austrian hereditary lands regulated: with the consent of Maximilian Emanuel, except in the event of the extinction of all male heirs of the House of Austria

Article 4: Donatio propter nuptias (100,000 guilders), morning gift (50,000 guilders) determined

Article 5: Life estate and widow’s residence specified

Articles 6-7: In the event of the groom’s death with or without children: return of the dowry, return of the widow’s personal property in accordance with an inventory to be drawn up, widow’s maintenance, widow’s residence regulated, widow’s pension specified
