Article 1: Marriage agreed: with papal dispensation due to the degree of kinship between the spouses, with procurator for Count Ludwig at the Savoy court

Article 2: After the wedding, elevation of Marie Josephine Louise to Countess of Provence, transfer from Turin to France arranged

Article 3: Dowry set at 420,000 livres, payment arranged

Article 4: Marie Josephine Louise’s property rights to the dowry arranged, in the event of Marie Josephine Louise’s death without children or in the event of the death of children before they reach the age of majority: reversion of the dowry arranged, except for a sum of up to 100,000 livres specified in the will

Article 5: Investment of dowry regulated: in Count Ludwig’s appanage territories, in the event of dissolution of the marriage: reversion to Marie Josephine Louise or her heirs guaranteed

Article 6: Dowry regarded as Marie Josephine Louise’s inheritance settlement, Marie Josephine Louise’s renunciation of inheritance regulated: except in the event of the extinction of all remaining descendants of Karl Emanuel, bride price determined, ratification by Count Ludwig and Louis XV of France guaranteed

Article 7: Bridal gifts worth 200,000 livres guaranteed, Marie Josephine Louise’s property and inheritance rights regulated

Article 8: Morning gift worth 300,000 livres determined, Marie Josephine Louise’s property and inheritance rights regulated

Article 9: Maintenance of Marie Josephine Louise and her court during the marriage regulated

Article 10: Life annuity as widow’s pension or widow’s allowance set at 60,000 livres per annum, investment in Count Ludwig’s appanage estates specified, Marie Josephine Louise receives jurisdiction over the investment assets, the main estate is elevated to a duchy, rights of use of the widow’s pension are regulated, the right to appoint officials on those estates is regulated, provided they are French subjects

Article 11: Right of departure and return to her grandfather’s countries as a widow guaranteed

Article 12: Inheritance of Marie Josephine Louise’s personal estate regulated: family jewels excluded

Article 13: Ratification regulated
