Preamble: general declarations by Philip II and Maximilian II on the objectives pursued by the marriage, confirmation of negotiators, etc. (Latin, Spanish)

Article 1: Marriage agreed upon to strengthen the alliance between the Austrian and Spanish Habsburgs

Article 2: Marriage to be concluded with papal dispensation due to the close degree of kinship between Philip and Anna, marriage by proxy, to be repeated and confirmed as soon as Anna is transferred to Spain

Article 3: Dowry determined, payment terms regulated, to be paid within one year of the marriage taking place

Article 4: Dower and morning gift determined: Anna’s inheritance rights to dower regulated, both in the event that children are born from the marriage and in the event that she remains childless

Article 5: Investment of dowry and dower in possessions of the Spanish Crown regulated
