Contract content

Article 1: Marriage is agreed upon.

Article 2: Dowry (15,000 florins in Frankfurt currency) is agreed upon and its investment is determined

Article 3: Trousseau is determined

Article 4: Morning gift (1,000 gold guilders) and maintenance are determined; the needle money amounts to 1,000 florins per annum in Hessian chamber currency

Article 5: In the event of Katharina Amalia’s death without heirs, the dowry plus interest shall be repaid
