Contract content
1 – A dowry of 20,000 Reichstaler provided by Frederick III of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf; the bride’s mother contributes an additional 10,000 Reichstaler
2 – The donatio propter nuptias depends on the number of children the couple has
3 – Dowry settled: palace, town, county and district court of Sulzbach; the bride’s rights regarding the dowry estates settled; a life estate of 2,400 Reichstalers if there are no joint children and 2,500 Reichstalers if there are joint children; appointment of parish clergy in accordance with the unaltered Augsburg Confession and the Palatinate-Neuburg Church Ordinance
4 – Morning gift in the amount of 4,000 Reichsgulden in principal, bearing 6% annual interest
5 – If the groom dies before the bride without joint heirs: should the groom’s brother, Johann Friedrich of Pfalz-Neuburg, opt for the county of Sulzbach, the bride need not leave Sulzbach until she has received full compensation from both Wolfgang Wilhelm of Pfalz-Neuburg and Johann Friedrich of Pfalz-Neuburg, notwithstanding the disposition and the recess concluded between the two brothers in April
6 – The 10,000 Reichstaler shall be invested in the dowry estates
7 – Danish and Gottorf commissioners shall be appointed to oversee the implementation and the consent of the groom’s brothers
