[Pre] – In honour of God, for the preservation and propagation of the Catholic religion, for the establishment of peace and for the good of Christendom as the goal of princely marriages: Marriage agreed, declared on behalf of the contracting parties by the Spanish King, mediated by Spanish representatives: (178 li – re)

[1] – Engagement and marriage arranged: by envoys of the groom at the imperial court, ratification and church wedding agreed upon after the bride’s transfer to France, date to be determined (178 re)

[2] – Dowry determined: payment arranged (178 re)

[3] – Investment of the dowry in land ownership, monetary payments and rights of use in France regulated (178 re)

[4] – Widow’s income determined: invested in widow’s estates with ducal title, rights of use and dominion regulated, for the bride’s lifetime (178 re – 179 li)

[5] – Bride’s jewellery determined: to become the bride’s hereditary property, reversion to the groom after the bride’s death regulated (179 li)

[6] – Maintenance of the bride and her court during the marriage regulated (179 li)

[7] – After the death of the bride without children: reversion of the bride’s dowry and estate to the bride’s heirs, except for the reversion of the bride’s jewellery to the groom, if applicable – after the death of the groom: transfer of the dowry and bride’s jewellery to the bride agreed (179 li)
