Preamble: After repeated courtship by the groom’s father to strengthen both crowns through an indissoluble bond of friendship following the example of previous kings, in recognition of the honour and benefit of marriage for the king and Christianity: Appointment of negotiators, marriage negotiations, conclusion of contract before witnesses (476 li – re)

Article 2: Marriage promised for the bride: with the consent of the bride’s brother and mother, after obtaining papal dispensation, betrothal according to Catholic rites

Article 3: Church wedding regulated: in France, according to the rites of marriage of the bride’s father and sister of the stepmother

Article 4: Transfer of the bride regulated

Article 5: After transfer of the bride: renewed ratification by the groom in England regulated

Articles 6-8: Catholic religious practice for the bride and her court regulated: own chapel, court priest, burial rights and own bishop guaranteed, jurisdiction over clergy regulated, number of clergy regulated
