Preamble: Names of the parties involved; marriage in consultation with the Palatinate main line; marriage to strengthen the good affection, friendship and correspondence between the houses

Article 1: Marriage vows; wedding date set for 24 August 1615; before the contract comes into force, the groom must have it confirmed by his brothers Friedrich Kasimir and Johann

Article 2: Dowry regulated: 100,000 Reichstaler; payment regulated; bride’s trousseau regulated; from her parents’ estate, the bride receives 12,000 Swedish talers and 12,000 gold guilders paid by her brother; a further 12,000 Swedish talers and 12,000 gold guilders are to be administered by the bride’s stepmother

Article 3: Transfer of the bride regulated

Article 4: Religious regulations: Free practice of religion for the bride; assurance of a court chaplain

Article 5: Investment of the dowry regulated

Article 6: Renunciation of inheritance by the bride regulated

Article 7: Morning gift regulated: 5,000 guilders

Article 8: Widow’s dower and life estate regulated: 5,000 guilders life estate from the office of Neukastel and Falkenburg; Regulations on the widow’s dower: Rights of the bride; Homage, officials; Damage to the widow’s dower; Compensation; Possibility of extending the widow’s dower if the groom’s property increases

Article 9: Deaths: Groom dies before the bride: Remarriage of the bride regulated; Release of funds

Article 10: Bride dies before groom: use and inheritance of dowry and other funds regulated

Article 11: Groom dies before bride with and without children: use and inheritance of dowry and other funds regulated

Article 12: Ratification of the contract by the groom regulated; the Palatinate main line is not responsible for the execution of the contract

Article 13: If one of the two marriage partners dies before consummation, the contract is void

Article 14: Execution of the contract in two copies, place, date, signatures
