Preamble (206f.): On the renewal and strengthening of kinship and friendship between dynasties: marriage agreement and contract declared

Article 1: Marriage vows exchanged by bride and groom

Article 2: Trousseau regulated

Article 3: Maintenance for bride and her male descendants stipulated: until the groom and his male descendants ascend the throne in Hesse, disposition regulated by groom

Article 4: After the groom or his male heirs ascend the throne in Hesse: regular dowry, morning gift, maintenance for the bride, widow’s income and widow’s residence guaranteed based on the model of the marriage contract between Hesse and Denmark in 1757

Article 5: After the death of the bride without male descendants: lifelong use of the maintenance money by the groom, reversion after the death of the groom regulated, payment of dowry to the bride’s daughters regulated if necessary
