Article 1: Decision to marry announced

Article 2: Donatio propter nuptias to be provided will be financed from the expected paternal inheritance

Article 3: Donatio propter nuptias set at 1,000,000 Portuguese cruzados or ducats, to be provided by Maria Franziska Elisabeth, for Peter’s free use after the marriage has been consummated

Article 4: Payment of dowry upon transfer of the bride to the Minister of the Portuguese King: to be treated as a debt owed by the Minister to Peter

Article 5: Life estate determined: in accordance with the life estate of the Queen Mother

Article 6: Maintenance of Maria Franziska Elisabeth during the marriage determined: supplemented by payments from various grandees of the Kingdom of Portugal

Article 7: in the event of widowhood or dissolution of the marriage before consummation for other reasons, Maria Franziska Elisabeth shall be free to remain in Portugal or to leave it; if she decides to remain, she shall retain all the income and rights specified in the previous articles
