[Pre] – after multiple courtship, in accordance with the groom’s desire to further strengthen the friendship and good understanding between the English king and the States General and their crowns and states, in accordance with the groom’s desire to further strengthen the honour and growth of the House of Orange through the groom’s marriage: Appointment of negotiators, negotiations and conclusion of contract announced (189 li)

2 – Transfer of the bride arranged

3 – Dowry determined: payment arranged

4 – Widow’s income and two widow’s residences determined: payment arranged

5 – Instruction of widow’s property arranged

6 – Maintenance for bride during marriage determined: in addition to costs for court

7 – Bride’s court during marriage determined: appointment of servants arranged

8 – Anglican religious practice for bride and her household regulated

9 – After death of groom without children: payment of dowry to bride regulated

10 – After death of groom with children: payment of half of dowry to bride regulated, interest on other half regulated
